What will be done with my students

Hands-On Instrumentation: Students will have the opportunity to learn and play the electric bass guitar, exploring different musical styles and techniques. This hands-on experience will enhance their understanding of rhythm, melody, and harmony.

Collaborative Music Making: We will organize group sessions where students can play together, fostering teamwork and communication skills as they create music collaboratively. This will encourage peer learning and build strong relationships among students.

Cultural Exploration: The curriculum will incorporate music from our students’ diverse backgrounds, allowing them to connect with their heritage through bass playing and composition. This exploration will help students appreciate and celebrate their cultural identities.

Live Performances: Students will have opportunities to showcase their skills in school concerts and community events, building their confidence and providing a platform for them to express their musical talents.

Skill Development: Through structured lessons and practice, students will develop not only their musical abilities but also critical skills such as discipline, perseverance, and creativity. We will track their progress and celebrate their achievements throughout the year.
