Goal
To add sound muffling wall panels to our news room in order to maximize the quality of sound being received in each classroom. This acoustic excellence will reduce the echo and produce an enhanced quality based news show.

What will be done with my students
The added sound panels will improve speech clarity while reducing background noise creating a more balanced and controlled acoustic environment. Both the student news team and their audience will enjoy improved productions without unnecessary distractions.
Benefits to my students
Students tuning in to the morning news daily will enjoy a quality program with improved sound production. Minimizing the echo and reverberation will allow students tuning in to focus on the important announcements, rather than being distracted by the quality of the sound. Research shows that reducing noise reverberation not only enhances speech intelligibility but fosters concentration in overall performances when speaking.
Budget Narrative
Approximately 25 packs of 1"X12"X12" sound proof foam panel packs will be needed to cover the news room (24 per pack)
