To allow teacher to get immediate feedback on student understanding.
What will be done with my students
CPS clickers are an easy way for instant feedback from student to teacher. Students will use clickers on a daily basis to answer benchmark standards. The clicker sends information directly to teacher computer and shows teacher data that is easily understood as to who is grasping content and who needs a little more practice. Clickers can also be a quick "check for understanding" tool, as well as making assessment grading easier.
Benefits to my students
Benefits of CPS clickers are that teachers get instant access to student understanding. This is imperative for an innovating teacher to implement differentiation in the classroom, pair students up for optimal success, and to find out and clear up any misconceptions immediately. Students benefit because they are getting immediate response to intervention, they are receiving many checks for understanding, and they are getting much needed content practice in the classroom.
