Goal
My goal is to allow all students to have access to a reliable calculator for math class.
What will be done with my students
Students will be able to use scientific calculators to solve problems through basic calculations and prove solutions. With the amount of testing, students should have the opportunity to become familiar with basic calculator functions before state mandated testing. Students need calculators to perform basic and advanced mathematical concepts.
Benefits to my students
When solving problems in math, it is beneficial to have a calculator. It is also important to use calculators when checking your solutions to ensure accuracy.
Budget Narrative
Since class sizes fluctuate throughout the year, it is important to be able to provide a classroom calculator to each student. $16.39/calculator * 30 calculators = $491.70 through Office Depot.
