Goal
My goal for this flash card library is to review skills, provide extra reinforcement and prepare my student's for standardized tests.
What will be done with my students
My student's will use several Kagan strategies to utilize their flash cards. These strategies will be done during stations and include cooperative learning techniques such as "Fan-N-Pick" and "The Flash Card Game."
Benefits to my students
These flash cards will engage active recall amoungst my students as well as engage my kinesthetic learners. These are my students who learn by doing, moving and touching. Self reflection is also engaged because my student's will ask themselves, "How did my answer compare to this correct answer?" This helps to ingrain memories of what they are reviewing.
Budget Narrative
Math Flash Card Library will be ordered from Lakeshore. The base cost is $55.00. $10.00 has been included for the cost of taxes and shipping and handling.
