Goal
The goal of this activity is to encourage all students in the school, while visiting the media center, to explore a connecting system which will allow them to build bridges, skyscrapers, and 3-D structures.
What will be done with my students
At the activity tables, in the school media center, students will use colorful translucent plastics, unique geometric shapes and extender rods, which will allow students to build open-ended constructions .
Benefits to my students
Creative thinking, improving spacial awareness and activities that will tie into the Science STEM curriculum in all grades.
