Goal
My goal is for all of my classroom students to be fluent in their addition and subtraction Math facts up to 18. Collier County's goal for second grade is to know their facts within three seconds.
What will be done with my students
The students will have time everyday to review and quiz each other using their flash cards. Students will become fluent.
Benefits to my students
Students whose parents can't afford to buy these packs of cards will now have the opportunity to have access of them everyday. With the students becoming fluent it will also raise their self-esteem.
Budget Narrative
In the past students have made their own cards, but during the school year they get lost or take them home and they don't return to school. If I had a pack for each of them, there would be a special place in the room where they can use them and put them back.
