Goal

The goal of this grant is for Kindergarten students to start to learn how to code.

What will be done with my students

Using the Think & Learn Code-a-Pillar the students will be able to arrange and rearrange easily to connect segments in endless combinations, sending Code-a-Pillar on his path. Every time the students rearrange his segments, Code-a-Pillar takes a different path.

Benefits to my students

The benefit of using the Code-a-Pillar is that it will get students thinking of what segments students need to add or take off in order for the Code-a-Pillar to get to each destination they create. They will have to try, rearrange, and try again to get the code they want. It is a fun way to introduce Kindergarten students to the world of coding.
