Goal
The goal is to incorporate technology into the classroom in such a way as to engage the students in the subject of mathematics. While engaging the students with technology the ultimate goal is to see these students perform better on the Florida State Assessment Test.
What will be done with my students
The students will use I-pads to connect with the outside world and grow in their understanding of a variety of mathematical concepts.
Benefits to my students
By using the I-pads the students will be more engaged with the material they are learning. This engagement will create excitement for mathematics and their scores on the Florida State Assessment will go up.
Budget Narrative
This price for an I-pad is based off of the lower end market value. If a better price can be found then we could purchase more I-pads. The school will cover the $50 cost of the Air Watch security/monitoring system for each of the I-pads.
