Goal
The students will explore the basics of electricity and electrical circuits by using conductive and insulating dough, and circuits.
What will be done with my students
The students will use the Squishy Circuits conductive and insulating play dough to learn about the basics of electrical circuits in a fun, hands-on way. Their creations will come to life and light up, make noises with buzzers, and have the ability to spin using a motor.
Benefits to my students
Exciting learning experiences occur when students
are engaged and have the opportunity to design, create,
invent and problem solve. Development of these creative thinking techniques is important to all fields of inquiry, but
particularyly critical in science and S.T.E.A.M.
These activities also help students develop critical thinking skills and the ability to work as a team.
