To maximize student engagement, time-on-task, and increase overall concentration.
What will be done with my students
Select students with attention difficulties will be given a stability ball to sit on for the duration of class. They may use the ball to gently bounce in place, removing the need to fidget or leave their seats.
Benefits to my students
Removing the need to fidget or leave their seats eliminates distractions, which helps students to focus. If they are bouncing, students are expelling movement, which helps them to spend their extra energy in a productive way.
Budget Narrative
Each exercise ball costs $15.98, with tax and shipping. The amount will be used to purchase 10 exercise balls to utilize within the classroom.
