Goal
Students will discover the importance of plankton in our ecosystem.
What will be done with my students
Students will examine the different classifications of plankton
and their roles in our marine ecosystem. Students will use microscopes to examine and study algae.They will investigate water quality issues that affect Southwest Florida.They will learn how human impact affects our water sources and discuss possible solutions.
Benefits to my students
Our students will get a hands on experience using microscopes to examine plankton .They will learn the importance of protecting our water quality in Southwest Florida. They will gain an understanding of how humans impact our water sources and marine life.
