Goal

My goal is to obtain a class set of 9 comfortable and reliable headphones with noise cancellation features that will enable my students to make the most of their time while using our classroom computers. We will be able to incorporate reading fluency into our student’s daily activities. We will have students record their voices and then listen to themselves. This will allow them to identify where they can make improvements on their reading. Also, students will be able to listen to their Read180 program with more comfortable and more reliable headphones.  

 

What will be done with my students

Students will benefit from listening through headphones that have noise cancellation features and the ability to create crisp and clear voice recordings. Students will be able to use reading and fluency programs. In addition, students will be able to further develop their creative side as they will work on a variety of projects that allow them to practice their fluency while creating audio/video projects. 

 

Benefits to my students

Students will greatly benefit from the use of these headphones as they will have fewer distractions. The benefit of having headphones that are noise cancelling is that students will be more engaged as they will be spending less time trouble shooting the headphones they currently use. As a result, more classwork will get done. Students will also benefit from learning from each other as they will be able to listen to their fluency and compare it to their peers.  

 

Budget Narrative

We will be buying Logitech headphones.
