Goal
To help my students have an organized and proficient classroom where they can thrive in a clean and organized space. Since our classroom is in a portable, it limits the amount of space and storage that we have. These seat sacks will provide students the perfect place to put their books, journals, and composition notebooks. The more storage space we are given, the more proficient and tidy our classroom will be.
What will be done with my students
Students will learn to be a responsible citizen of their classroom by learning how to use their seat sacks and how they provide functionality to our classroom.
Benefits to my students
The most significant benefit will be the time saved by having an organizational system in place for students to access necessary materials that further their learning process. By teaching my students how to be responsible for their seat sack and the materials it holds, they will be able to continue to grow their independence and knowledge of how to be a responsible citizen in the classroom.
Budget Narrative
The retail price for each seat sack is $11.95. I need a total of 25 seat sacks. This will cover one seat sack for each student and the remainder of the seat sacks will be used at the guided reading table.
