Goal

Our goal is for the students to have weekly scholastic readers that they can read on their own while social distancing can stay in place in the classroom.

What will be done with my students

Each student will receive a hard copy of the weekly reader as well as have the ability to log in on a computer where they can then interact with the reader and experiments that go along with the topic. The students will read and write to the scholastic news that ties in social studies and science.

Benefits to my students

Scholastic weekly readers fits into the first grade standards and gives the students the chance to read and learn about current topics. It goes across all curricular areas and has the ability to meet students at their current reading level. Each student will get their own copy which is very important with the current classroom situations.

Budget Narrative

This will give each student a weekly reader once a week as well as a digital copy.
