Goal

To have a simple, safe, effective, and low maintenance approach to keeping students healthy while in the classroom. 

 

What will be done with my students

Keeping our students healthy and engaged are two very important topics in the classroom today. Aside from their core learning, my students will learn various procedures of hand washing and cleaning of their personal work spaces in an effort to stay healthy. The iWand will allow me an extra measure of sanitizing to ensure my students are healthy and safe while at school.

As an extra layer of protection and piece of mind my students will benefit from this by allowing me to sterilize materials such as door handles, light switches, lap tops, key boards, etc. without the use of chemicals. 

 

Budget Narrative

This proposed grant would allow me to purchase one Optec UV C LED iWand (Model RC-WX1000) to assist in a non-chemical method of sterilizing my classroom throughout the day when students are present.
