Goal
We would like to add a telephoto lens to our photography cabinet in order to take better photos at school events ranging form sports to music to theatre.
What will be done with my students
We currently rely on a photo vendor to supply us with photos from certain events because we do not have the equipment to take the photos ourselves. With this lens, we can put photos in our yearbook and on our social media accounts that we took - not take someone else took.
Benefits to my students
The entire school will benefit form this because the photos will be used to promote the school throughout social media and especially our yearbook. The yearbook is something that captures the entire school year and puts it in print. It is there forever. We want to show off our technical photography skills both in social media and in our book!
Budget Narrative
The price of the lens is $899.00 from B&H Photo. Shipping is included so all of the funds will go towards the purchase of the lens.
