Goal
To instill a love of music for all students.
What will be done with my students
The students will have the opportunity to experience the teamwork of being on a drumline. We will perform at school functions, be able to start an indoor drumline group, perform on third for the Christmas lighting, and many more experiences. Performing in a drumline helps students with eye/hand coordination, teamwork, and creates a sense of belonging in a drumline family atmosphere. The students have never had this opportunity and will greatly benefit from this experience.
Benefits to my students
Currently Seacrest does not have a drumline. With the purchase of these drums we can offer more experiences for our students both at Seacrest and out in our community.
