Statewide Reach for Local Impact

FIND IT FUND IT FLORIDA

The goal of this project is for all students at GTE to showcase the 7 habits, and their leadership in our school. We are an outdoor school, so displaying students work is tricky. With these outdoor bulletin boards, students can Lead the Way at GTE as learn and grow socially, emotionally, and academically.

Goal

The goal of this project is for all students at GTE to showcase the 7 habits, and their leadership in our school. We are an outdoor school, so displaying students work is tricky. With these outdoor bulletin boards, students can Lead the Way at GTE as learn and grow socially, emotionally, and academically.

What will be done with my students

I will designate a bulletin board for each grade level at GTE to showcase our habit of the month. We are a Leader in Me school, and we are teaching our students Franklin Covey's 7 Habits of Highly Effective People. As a Leader in Me school, we want each student to know they are a leader and to take an active role in some way. Students work hard to learn and live the habits, and I want them to be able to share their hard work with the school. Outdoor bulletin boards are the answer!

Benefits to my students

Students will know how important the habits are when they see them displayed around the school. They will feel important themselves and know what they do matters when they see their work displayed in the building. All students will feel a sense of belonging, and Lead the Way at GTE!

Budget Narrative

The money will be used to by one outdoor display case for 1st grade.
