Goal

We would like our students to experience the life cycles of growing their own food from seed to table. We would also like for them to experience life cycles hands on in their own garden. We will be covering so many science standards across all grade levels with your help.  

 

What will be done with my students

This project will benefit all our Buckhorn Bears by giving them hands on experience with gardening, growing their own vegetables, cooking with what they have grown, and with watching life cycles up close in both plants and butterflies. This is also a family project as our family/community project as they will be helping us to set up and plant our garden to start off. 

 

Benefits to my students

Our expected outcome will be students will understand, explore, and investigate the lifecycles of plants and butterflies. Students will grown vegetables and herbs from seed to table. 

 

Budget Narrative

This will get us started with us our butterfly garden which will then pollinate our vegetable garden. It will allow us to water our garden as well. The total cost for our project will be $458.10 . Thank you in advance for helping our school help our kiddos in this experience.
