Goal

My goal is to take students on a colorful journey across the nation by reading the Explore the U.S.A series. My goal is to aid student in learning about geography, history, symbols, and interesting facts that make each State special. Student will be able to explore the U.S.A. My goal is to introduce young readers from other countries to the United States of America through vivid images and engaging text, giving them an exciting look at the places that make up this great country. 

 

What will be done with my students

Students will be able to select and check out the interactive books. Students will learn about different cultures and historical facts in America. Students will read and gain knowledge about unique qualities of each U.S. State.
 

 

Benefits to my students

Students will benefit by these interactive enhanced books which offer an AV2 media.. A unique book code printed on page 2 unlocks multimedia content. These books come alive with video, audio, weblinks, slide shows, activities, hands-on experiments, And much more. This helps English Language Learners learn English and building communication skills. 

 

Budget Narrative

Currently the nonfiction Geography U.S. Explore State book series needs updated. I am asking for funding to support middle school literacy and to help students gain knowledge of the U.S. States.
