Goal

Our classroom goal is to have 100% of my students actively engaged while I am teaching. One way to achieve this is with the program “Kahoots”. This program can be used in the traditional classroom or in an e-learning environment. This program allows me to differentiate instruction for each student and provide immediate feedback on students understanding of subject material. This is an amazing and technological engaging tool to review and assess student learning. Finally, both whole group and individual game like interaction and learning comes to life in the Kahoots Game Zone!  

 

What will be done with my students

Due to my professional growth I enjoy teaching Art four days a week and additionally one day per week I teach Technology. As a duel discipline educator I plan on utilizing Kahoots across all grade levels kindergarten through fifth grade levels in both areas of concentration. Kahoot is a quiz-based learning platform that works for hybrid learning and flipped classroom situations by making learning fun, interactive and engaging. The platform has “millions” of pre-made games that are created by experts and educators that can be customized to fit any learning environment. In addition, students will work on teams to learn and practice both social, and emotional teamwork skills to help guide students to appropriately engage with others during competitive competitions. This year I would like to continue my premium membership
