Goal
My goal is to build a lego wall in the media center and engage students in design and critical thinking challenges.
What will be done with my students
Once the lego wall is built, students will have access to it for years to come. They will be able to develop critical thinking skills through design challenges, teamwork skills by working together to build things, conflict resolution skills, and so much more. It will even be a place where students can decompress and work on social and emotion learning.
Benefits to my students
Our students will learn and work together while building and solving real-world problems. It will impact our entire campus of 500 students.
Budget Narrative
This project includes 4 tubes of liquid nails from Home Depot for $1.97 each, a caulk gun from Home Depot for $3.97, an organizing cart from Staples for $39.89, 6 packs of baseplates from Discount School Supply for $41.66 each, and 2 packs of Legos from Discount School Supply for 79.99 each. This is a total of $461.68 for the project.
