Goal

The Qball is a progressive, action-oriented learning tool that engages and encourages participation of all students. This technology integrates the Four Cs of Education (Critical Thinking, Communication, Collaboration and Creativity). When using this innovative device, students learn skills needed in the 21st Century like clear and articulate communication while working as part of a group, an essential skill for our future leaders 

 

What will be done with my students

The Qball will be used in the media center during class lessons. Using this engaging tool, along with our classroom audio system, will excite my students and give them the confidence to verbally express their goals, ideas, and what they need in order to be successful. The Qball wireless microphone makes student reflection irresistible!
I want to take my literacy lessons to an entirely different level. Using the Qball microphone will engage all students and motivate them to participate in our literary discussions.  

 

Benefits to my students

Getting students to participate in discussions is a challenge at every level. Shyness and masks make it even more difficult to hear students.
With the use of the QBall, students will be able to participate in discussions, and help give the quiet students a vehicle to have their voices heard. 

 

Budget Narrative

This will allow me to purchase 1 Qball+ microphone system for our media center. It will be used for years to come.
