Goal

My goal is to provide the most comfortable and tranquil environment to every child to enhance learning in the classroom.  

 

What will be done with my students

Students are in our classrooms for a majority of their day. We spend many hours working rigorously on the various subjects throughout the day. Often times children will experience headaches, anxiety and or frustration with the many requirements of the day. With the florescent light covers, students will feel a sense of calmness which will lead to more productivity while completing daily tasks in the classroom.  

 

Benefits to my students

Students will gain a calm and pleasant learning environment by decreasing glare and flickering from overhead fluorescent lights. This will also reduce harsh glare that causes headaches, eye strain, or even anxiety. The light covers will bring an overall sense of tranquility to the classroom which will benefit everyone walking into the room.  

 

Budget Narrative

I am asking for two sets of the fabric panels that fit over standard ceiling fixtures with sturdy, sewn-in magnets. Each set includes four 2’ x 4’ heat-resistant panels in either Tranquil Blue or Whisper White.
