Goal

I would like to purchase a school-wide set of the Math in Practice books for my teachers to use.

This particular set of books will help teachers:
-Guide students in deeper math understanding
-Respond to the challenges of their math curriculum
-Support students who are struggling, excelling, and anywhere in between 

 

What will be done with my students

As the Math Coach, it's my responsibility to build capacity for the teachers so they can better impact students. In order to do so, we need a variety of resources in order to teach our students.
The teachers will be able to use the Math in Practice books in order to better understand exactly what the standards are and how to more effectively teach the grade-level specific content.

All of the students will benefit from this project for many years to come. 

 

Benefits to my students

I expect my teachers to have a better understanding of their content, which then leads to deeper student understanding of mathematics.

Our School Math Scores will increase, our School Grade will increase, and our Students will be much better prepared for the math they will learn throughout their Mathematical practice.
