Goal
Our goal is to provide incentives for students to support a positive school culture, and help strengthen our positive behavior intervention system. Improving social, emotional, and academic outcomes for all students.
What will be done with my students
Students will continue to receive incentives and schoolwide events recognizing. their positive behavior and academic success by following schoolwide SOAR expectations. ( Self-control, Own Your own actions, Always do your best, Respect yourself.
Benefits to my students
This grant will help to support and grow the positive school culture that has occurred over the last few years. Incentives will motivate scholars todo their best to come to school and be active learners in and out of their classrooms.
Describe the Students
Many of our scholars are faced with adverse and often traumatic life experiences including low SES, food and housing insecurities making it difficult to value school as a priority.
Budget Narrative
This money will help provide students with uniforms to decrease barriers of coming to school, Provide social emotional tools and resources to improve mental health at school. Being able to provide and host schoolwide events will increase positive engagement with families in the community.
