Goal
For the students in fifith grade to be successful when they beome entrepreneurs for the first time. The year long course will allow them the experience to create a company, design and market a product, and then sell it.
What will be done with my students
The students will be creating their product. The Glowforge is a 3D laser / engraver that works with a variety of materials (wood,acrylic, leather, canvas, denim, etc.). With these materials a variety of products can be created, such as but not limited to, earrings, puzzles, keychains, signs, and engraving on materials to make plaques and even trophies/awards. To use the Glowforge in the class we need to ensure that it is vented correctly and this air filter allows that, minimizes sound and elimantes odor.
Benefits to my students
The students will be able to use the Glowforge for various products and ensure a safe and healthy environment while doing so.
