Goal
The goal of this project is to motivate students and deliver better quality sound to their tailored online lessons.
What will be done with my students
This grant will be used to increase student interest and improve sound during their independent time on online reading lessons. These headphones will be useful in every core subject and any time their computers are utilized to further drive instruction.
Benefits to my students
Second grade is a transitional grade in which the fundamentals of reading is honed in and practiced. Too often student earpods are lost or broken quickly after the school year begins. One large benefit of the headphones is that it provides opportunity for students to hear the way words are read and they will better understand how to read by listening closely to instruction online.
Budget Narrative
I am requesting $89.98 to be able to purchase a class set of headphones (24 students). Students will have their own labeled headphones so that they are able to listen to individually designed lessons online.
