Goal
By using Jan Richardson's researched based literacy tools kindergarten and first grade students in Access Curriculum will be able to identify uppercase and lowercase letters and produce their common sounds.
What will be done with my students
With consistent practice in one-on-one and small group settings students will participate in proven literacy strategies to strengthen their knowledge of letters and sounds.
Benefits to my students
Students will improve their knowledge of letters and sounds which is part of their IEP academic goals. Monthly tracking of letter identification and sounds will be tracked and should show improvement with each passing month.
