Goal

The goal of this grant is to provide our students with computer mice to better enhance their ease of learning.  

 

What will be done with my students

Our students have each been provided a laptop to use by the district. Unfortunately, they struggle at times to work precisely and accurately because they do not have a mouse to use and must rely on the trackpad which can be difficult. My teaching partner and myself are asking for wired computer mice to lend to our students to enhance their learning experience. 

 

Benefits to my students

With each student being able to utilize a computer mouse, we ensure that their computer use is efficient. We often use a variety of programs that require students to drag and drop, illustrate, and create. Having to rely solely on the trackpad, can inhibit our students ability to complete tasks quickly and correctly. With a computer mouse, students will be able to work proficiently and get the most out of their time in 5th grade this year.  

 

Budget Narrative

This budget includes two sets of 30 computer mice, ensuring that there are enough for each student to utilize one for the school year, as well as the necessary tax.
