Goal
(ALL SUBJECTS) The goal is to engage students in the learning process and hold them accountable for their thinking and participation.
What will be done with my students
With whiteboards, students will stay engaged in lessons while being held accountable in participation. My students use white boards for reading, writing brainstorming, grammar, math, science, social studies, and Connect for Success. (picture included) Students will visualize thoughts, concepts, write down ideas, explain and teach, plan and create in the group and many other things on their white boards.
Benefits to my students
The benefits of having a whiteboard in every students' hands are endless. It helps when practicing new content, reviewing old content, a show down between two students practicing content, sharing thinking of a topic when too nervous to say it aloud, teaching classmates 'their' strategy, etc. My students use a whiteboard all day long, in every subject. It's a very powerful tool in the classroom!
Budget Narrative
