Goal
Provide STEM and Mathematical hands on opportunities for students with Intellectual Disabilities. These resources will allow them to explore Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) through the use of fun, innovative, hands on learning.
What will be done with my students
Given a specific engineering challenge; students will use their prior knowledge, teamwork, creativity, and ingenuity to plan, build, revise, and create different STEM models. My students will use the Math hands-on kinesthetic learning games to strengthen their math skills.
Benefits to my students
Students will learn how to work in productive teams through assigned lessons and activities. Students will learn how to follow instructions and develop creativity skills. Students will experience how to think logically and learn how to problem solve using several different methods such as reverse-engineering, mathematical coding, and science applications.
Budget Narrative
STEM construction kits for 3rd grade students. These kits contain all parts, motors and electronics needed to bring STEM to life! The math games will provide engaging lessons to help strengthen math skills. accessible. STEM Kits and math games promote collaboration and exploratory learning.
