Goal
To purchase two sets of Spike Prime's for the classroom. Each Kit and expansion set will cost $468.00 for each set with a total of $936.00. They will be used for my First Lego League Challenge and Explore Clubs.
What will be done with my students
This project will inspire students in STEM exploration through Robotics in the classroom. Through real world problem solving students will learn to work as a team to discover innovative ways to develop a solution to how to improve Energy use in their lives as well as throughout their community, and possibly beyond. The program is divided into 3 sections, robot missions, innovative project, and Core Values.
Benefits to my students
I will have two separate teams, one group of 4th and 5th graders and a another team of 2nd and 3rd graders. Groups will use problem solving and coding skills to complete a year long program with multiple competitions throughout the school year.
