Goal
My goal is to empower all of my students with a safe space to work on, using colorful dry erase markers to practice their Math strategies. Practice builds confidence and it allows all students to take risks and share their thinking using visual models and equations.
What will be done with my students
The dry erase boards will be used to practice Math content that will be taught throughout the school year. Students will be able to work in small groups and pairs to share their thinking and use multiple strategies to solve word problems and equations.
Benefits to my students
The benefit to my students would be that each of them would be able to practice their Math facts, equations and problems in a fun, interactive and engaging way with their classmates. Having the dry erase boards my students will feel empowered to take risks and gain confidence in their Math skills.
Budget Narrative
The $42.78 would allow me to purchase two sets of dry erase boards for my students to use daily during Math instruction.
