Goal
Our goal is to celebrate students who pass milestones of reading lessons. Students work hard to succeed in iReady Reading Lessons. We'd like to recognize their efforts by creating a celebration procedure for students who pass a certain amount of lessons in a row.
What will be done with my students
When students pass increments of 10 iReady lessons in a row, they will be sent to the STEAK Celebration hallway to be recognized for their success. Students will be given a certificate by their teacher for their Leadership Notebook, sign a displayed world monument (which correlates to our school-wide theme) and be given a brag tag for their lanyard. Students will be hired to organize and celebrate peers as they reach these milestones.
Benefits to my students
All K-5 students will receive public recognition as they walk down the hall to celebrate their success of reaching their Reading milestone. Weekly celebration will be held at the STREAK Celebration Hallway to congratulate their hard work.

Budget Narrative
Colored Paper for STREAK Certificates which will celebrate all students K-5 each time they meet a milestone. Ideally, all 478 students will meet a minimum of a 10 streak and 20 streak which equals almost 1,000 sheets of paper. Additionally, many students will meet milestones between 30-150 lessons passed in a row, as replicated in years past. Each year we celebrate students, we seem to grow more students meeting higher milestones.

Other items in budget narrative are brag tags from school life which can be added to the student's media center lanyard as well as life-sized cardboard cut outs, which students are invited to come to a public hallway to sign their name on to be recognized and feel the accomplishment of meeting their goal.
We are a Leader in Me School so students would lead the celebration and excitement during this public recognition weekly.
