Goal
The goal of this grant is to offer students fun ways to manipulate and sound out words as they learn phonics.
What will be done with my students
The phonics games I have chosen will be used during our reading block and intervention time to help struggling readers learn and sound out words. The games will be used in small group activities and in independent work.
Benefits to my students
The benefit for the students is that learning should be fun! Students will be practicing and reinforcing their phonics skills through games. This will help students enjoy reading and have fun learning new phonics skills.
