Lipman Family Farms - $804.98
Goal
The goal of this grant is to give the students of this migrant community an opportunity and means to explore their creative sides, as they work cooperatively with a team of peers to design, create, and market a small business.
What will be done with my students
My 5th grader entrepreneurs will work in small teams of 3 to 5 students to design a solution to an everyday problem. They will then decide who their "Target" market is, and produce and sell these products. The Cricut Maker will be used to make and promote the product as students learn the ins and outs of starting a small business.
Benefits to my students
The students will learn about creating budgets, advertising and promoting their products as they seek to target their market. This program will let students of all backgrounds know that they have different choices and opportunities in life as they seek their career choices.
Budget Narrative
The Cricut Maker along with the Cricut Easy Press will give the young entrepreneurs the tools they will need to properly market their products.
