Goal
Improve student's reading and listening comprehension skills through a language-based curriculum.
What will be done with my students
My department has provided training for this program, but does not have the funding to provide the materials. This program would benefit my students and help them become skilled writers and readers. My students have a hard time understanding grade level reading material. This program focuses on language/comprehension skills and would improve their classroom performance.
Benefits to my students
This curriculum will be used across all grade levels and will impact students in the Exceptional Student Education program. It is research based and helps educators and clinicians promote academic language development for diverse preschool and school-age children.
