Goal
I would like to implement a weekly cooking lesson with my ESE students and another self-contained ESE class. To do this, I am in need of a stand mixer.
What will be done with my students
Students will be able to participate at their level of ability, by using a powerlink and switch (which I have) along with a stand mixer (which I do not have). Cooking involves many academic skills: reading, following directions, sequencing, measurement, science concepts (sources of heat), and communication between students. All of these skills will benefit my special students as they grow older and more independent.
Benefits to my students
Students will improve communication, math, language arts, and science skills.
