Goal

To foster a sense of belonging and community within the Houses, in the 5th grade classrooms, and across the school.

What will be done with my students

One of the main benefits of the House system is giving students the opportunity to work together, creating a truly cohesive environment. It also allows for the promotion of student’s responsibility and leadership skills. In addition, the Houses strengthen relationships between students and teachers while encouraging healthy competition and fair play.

Benefits to my students

1- Build a true sense of community throughout the school led by the 5th grade students.

2-Increase in school spirit with all stakeholders, students, staff, & families.

3- A decrease in behavior across 5th grade classes.
