Goal

Students in this hands-on program learn improved creativity, innovation, problem-solving, opportunity recognition, bookkeeping, finance, economics, business math, presentation skills, working effectively in teams, goal setting and goal achievement, communication skills in spoken and written forms, overcoming obstacles, recognizing need to change course and making a creative plan to do so, business fundamentals, and law.  

 

What will be done with my students

Students will use this printer to create marketing materials (business cards, brochures, loyalty cards, flyers, etc.) for the businesses they build throughout the year.  

 

Benefits to my students

A large portion of our curriculum includes various functions of marketing, including the design and production of marketing materials ("collateral").

This classroom-made material will be produced at a much lower cost than if they have to pay an outside source for color printing.  

 

Budget Narrative

Students will use the color printer and ink to design and print their own marketing materials, allowing them to create proofs and finished product in the classroom at a low cost and with instant turn-around.
