Goal

Seminole Middle School has funded a PBIS Rewards program. This allows teachers/staff a method to reward students for following are schoolwide expectations which are designed to encourage student success. The rewards are a form of school currency that they can use to purchase items through our school store as a reward.  

 

What will be done with my students

Our school expectations are:
H. Have respect for self and others
A. Always be prepared and on time
W. Will make good choices
K. Keep focused on goals
S. Show responsibility

As students follow these expectations in the classrooms, hallways, lunch, etc. we reward them with HAWK tickets. Students use those tickets to buy items in the school store.
 

 

Benefits to my students

Students use their school currency to reward themselves with items found in our store. This system is designed to encourage positive behaviors instead of focusing on poor behavior. As students see students rewarded for following our expectations, others will want to do the same.

Budget Narrative

These are items for our Positive Behavior Intervention System at Seminole Middle School. Students can purcahase items using their school currency. We also have some larger gift cards to use for Raffles.
