Goal
My goal is for students in my three math classes to be engaged in using their critical thinking skills to solve mysteries and learn along the way! I have already received the Breakout Kit with a previous grant, and am asking for a renewal of the annual subscription.
What will be done with my students
Students will be placed into groups and will be given an academic "mystery" to solve. By working together, completing activities and following clues, they will work to "break out" of the box to find what is hidden inside!
Benefits to my students
These fun, educational puzzles come in a wide array of topics and subjects, fostering both student's academic and social development. Many games are designed to be standards aligned, and are also cross-curricula, hitting all subject areas. Each Breakout EDU kit gives access to play thousands of digital and kit-based immersive learning games. Students are engaged and excited about learning, while collaborating to problem solve in groups.
