Goal
The goal of utilizing this educational program, is to help support and enhance student learning using interactive and engaging educational games. Blooket is a great way for students to work cooperatively together to achieve a goal, and to learn from each other. This program can be used across all content areas, which also helps integrate information, in turn allowing students to make cross-curricular connections.
What will be done with my students
Blooket will be used as a supplemental resource. The content will customized to align with the curriculum, in order to target specific concepts, to review curricular content taught in class, to enhance and extend student learning, and to motivate students to want to learn. I have used this program with my students in the past, and they absolutely love it!
Benefits to my students
Blooket encourages students to work collaboratively with others, promoting communication and a sense of community among their peers. This program provides instant feedback to students' responses, allowing them to see their mistakes and improve understanding. Blooket also has a data tracking feature to monitor students' progress, so that teachers can adjust and adapt strategies where/when needed, in order to help students be successful in that content area.
