Goal

To enhance the convenience and ease of using our student laptops with 3 different accessories and arts integration.  

 

What will be done with my students

Students all carry their laptops in identical black cases. This can cause some confusion with students accidentally taking the wrong laptops. With this grant, students will design their own "shrinky dinks" to attach to their laptop cases with a key chain so that they can easily identify which case is theirs. They can use their creativity to draw their own design on special paper. Then I will put them in the oven to shrink and harden and attach them to a key chain. This grant also includes 5 sets of headphones for students when they forget theirs or if theirs break until they can get new ones as well as 8 extra chargers for our classroom for when students have forgotten to charge their computers.  

 

Benefits to my students

Students will be able to individualize their laptop cases without damaging them in any way. This will significantly cut down on laptop mix-ups! This will also cut down on student learning interruptions by having extra headphones to use and being able to quickly charge laptops with ease.  

 

Budget Narrative

This budget includes shrinky dink paper and key chains, 5 student headphones, and 8 laptop chargers.
