Goal

To promote community through kindness.

What will be done with my students

This year I will be hosting a leadership club made up of first grade student. These students meet monthly to plan activities that promote kindness around our campus and community. Activities include celebrating successes of other students with small gifts and tokens, sprinkle confetti and or snacks with inspirational messages for teachers and staff members around campus, create kindness rocks to place around our community, February kindness month challenge for our classrooms, and fund raising campaign to purchase field day shirts for needy students! These are just some of the great things that this special club will do!

Benefits to my students

The Kindness club will help our students feel connected to their peers, parents, teachers and staff. These activities will provide them with the tools to spread kindness wherever they go!
