Thank you to the following investors for funding this grant.
Esperanza Velez - $50.00
A Champion for Learning - $20.98
Goal
My goal is to reward students weekly for their positive behavior in the classroom and in school.
What will be done with my students
Throughout the week students will have the opportunity to earn points for their positive behavior through our Class Dojo system. They can earn their points in the library, during recess, lunch room or even when they complete their homework. At the end of the week students can visit the treasure box to select items based in the number of points received during the week. This is a great way to focus on positive behavior and reward for doing the right thing!
Benefits to my students
It allows students to have the opportunity to see that hard work pays off. They will be able to spend their hard earned points on items they enjoy! Rewarding positive behavior results in more learning, reduces negative behavior and creates a successful learning environment.
Budget Narrative
The $70.98 would be for various prize items for our classroom treasure box. The items include silly pencils, fidget spinners, and pop-its.
