Goal

To upgrade the school's CCTV equipment in order to broadcast a live "morning show". This project will allow students to be part of the crew who produces the daily show in front of the cameras as well as behind the scenes.  

 

What will be done with my students

Giving students the opportunity to have a job, like being part of the morning show crew, introduces them to different aspects of responsibility at a young age. It teaches them the value of hard work, how to be mature in situations where they are in charge of others, and the chance at entrepreneurship in a field that interests them. Students will learn to create content as well as all aspects of producing a live show for the entire school.  

 

Benefits to my students

The school's equipment is outdated and has not been able to broadcast a live show in over three years. With the upgraded equipment we will be able to bring back the "Morning Show Crew". Being part of the morning show crew is an opportunity for students in all grade levels to learn and share leadership skills. The crew is rotated throughout the year, providing opportunities for all students interested in participating.  

 

Budget Narrative

The cost summary includes equipment to in order to interface with our existing equipment. The morning show allows us to communicate with the student body and allows students to see themselves as leaders on campus.
