Thank you to the following investor for funding this grant.
Raymond James Financial - $876.96
Goal
My goal is to provide a "sturdy" easily accessible compartment for my scholars with the seat sacks. When supplies are readily available the transition between subjects flow more easily.
What will be done with my students
The VERY sturdy seat sacks will enable keep necessary tools in a way that is easy to get. Students love having their own supplies within their reach. The 4 "Flex-Space floor seats along with the " Flex-Space washable indoor/outdoor cushions" will provide a choice for the students when in reading and writing centers. They will be able to move these seats to a space where they will be opening their imaginations through reading and writing.
Benefits to my students
The sturdy seat sacks will benefit my students in having a personal space to hold their "treasures" school supplies. The two different sets/types of seats will provide more enthusiasm and incentive when going to independent reading and writing centers
Describe the Students
I have a mixture of these students coming into my classroom this year and every year. My students are first grade which means they are at the cuff of their journey in education. I believe these items will enhance the learning "FUN" I thrive to bring to my students.
Budget Narrative
I was notified that the grant "could" be up to 1,000.00 These items would be such an amazing gift to be able to provide my students with!!!
